Assam: Lachit The Warrior in Official Selection for Berlin’s New Born Short Film Festival

BERLIN: Lachit The Warrior, an animation film written and directed by Parthasarathi Mahanta and produced by Mina Mahanta and Indrani Baruah has been honoured with Official Selection in the highly prestigious New Born Short Film Festival, 2023 in Berlin.

This is the 9th edition of the festival which showcases films from around the globe. The narration in Lachit The Warrior is by Dr Amarjyoti Choudhury and the music is by Rupam Talukdar. Anupam Mahanta is the creative director, storyboarding and illustration by Hrishikesh Bora and VFX has been by Ratul Dutta.

The film has also been selected for the prestigious Indian Panorama in the upcoming International Film Festival of India at Goa, and, has been screened and awarded at nine other international film festivals till now.
