COVID-19 update: Hollywood’s Leonardo DiCaprio launches relief food fund with $12 million

Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio has launched relief food fund with $12 million amid COVID-19 pandemic.

He sent out a tweet on this.

"In the face of this crisis, organizations like World Central Kitchen and Feeding America have inspired us all with their unwavering commitment to feed the most vulnerable people in need," DiCaprio said in a statement. "I thank them for their tireless work on the frontlines, they deserve all of our support."

US has now become one of the major hotspots of coronavirus pandemic which has left thousands dead in the country.

With thousands of homeless people living out on the streets there is a dire need for food and shelter for the most vulnerable.
