The world is to witness the biggest divorce settlement of all time as the Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos’ wife has asked for a divorce settlement from her husband which is revealed to be the highest ever anybody has asked for, which is Rs Two Lakh Sixty-Six Thousand Crores.

Jeff, being the founder of Amazon, happens to be the richest man in the world and now, as he and his wife MacKenzie are moving towards a separation, Jeff has agreed to pay a divorce settlement which is considered as the biggest divorce settlement in the world. Notably, Jeff and MacKenzie were married for nearly 26 years.

Now, as soon as the judge rubber-stamps this divorce plea by the Bezos, this will turn into the world's most expensive divorce settlement. Along with this, an agreement of Ms Bezos, taking a four per cent stake in the online shopping behemoth will also be confirmed.

The duo, Jeff and MacKenzie have four children together. They are together even before Mr Bezos set up Amazon from his garage in Seattle, i.e., since 1993. But seems, things are not going to go well between them as both are now willing to part their ways.

The richest man’s wife 49-year-old Ms Bezos will turn into world's fourth richest woman once the divorce petition is approved by the judge. However, Ms Bezos has also confirmed that once she obtains the divorce settlement from her husband, she will hand over at least half the settlement to charity.

The intention to make the charity has been announced by herself in a blog. Writing in a blog of The Giving Pledge organization’s website, she had confirmed the donation. Notably, the orgnisation was founded by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates and the sole purpose behind the organisation was to encourage the super-rich people to donate more than half of their wealth to philanthropic causes.
