Pornstar Dakota Syke found Dead after Posting Topless Pic at George Floyd's Mural

Dakota Skye, an adult film star was discovered dead on Wednesday. She was 27 years old at the time. Her death came just weeks after she drew the ire of netizens on social media for posing topless near the George Floyd mural. 

Lauren Kaye Scott is the real name of the adult film star who was found dead in her Los Angeles RV by her unnamed spouse, who identified the body to police. The reason for Dakota Skye's death remains unknown.

Personal struggles in her personal life, according to sources, had tormented her. She recently expressed her displeasure at being attacked by aggressive Internet trolls. The Tampa Bay, Florida native, who also went by the stage name 'Kota Sky,' received anger online after posting an image to her now-defunct Instagram profile. It shows the lady flashing the camera at a mural of George Floyd, who was assassinated by police last year, in Santa Barbara. It caused quite a stir on the internet. Dakota's friends flocked to Instagram to express their sadness at her passing. 

Dakota, according to the Toronto Sun, tweeted the provocative photo on May 4. 

'Happy #GeorgeFloyd dat in #santabarbara <3 #dakotaskye equality&fair treatment for all. Dope mural' was the caption of the photo which did not sit well with many people who found her topless photo near Floyd's mural offensive. 

She justified herself by saying she was 'celebrating BAD cops being checked with abusing their authority against human beings... hello. No human being should die getting arrested.'  She has previously been in the headlines for a variety of problematic reasons. 

According to XBIZ, an adult industry news portal, she had also been dealing with "personal struggles," which included an addiction to alcohol and fentanyl, as well as an abusive family environment. 

The demise of the adult film star shook her family and friends. 

"Dakota was a dear friend and part of our industry family, and we are saddened by her loss," said her friend James Bartholet. "She still had so much more to give to the world and to the industry, and I'm just very saddened and at a loss for words," he added. 

Meanwhile, Skye's aunt Arden is relieved that her "sweetest girl" niece "no longer has to walk through this world in pain."
