UN Human Rights chief calls Trump 'dangerous'

United Nations, Oct 12: The UN human rights chief has warned that, if Republican party nominee Dold Trump is elected to be the next US President, he would be “dangerous from an intertiol point of view”. Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein told reporters on Wednesday that comments by Trump were “deeply unsettling and disturbing”, reported CNBC news. Speaking on the November presidential election, the Jordanian prince said: “If Dold Trump is elected, on the basis of what he has said already and unless that changes, I think it’s without any doubt that he would be dangerous from an intertiol point of view.” The human rights chief also told reporters he did not plan to tone down his recent remarks decrying dangers posed by “populists and demagogues”. In September, Hussein had told a security conference that politicians such as Dold Trump used the same tactics as the so-called Islamic State. (IANS)
