Vaastu for the Assamese New Year

The following common house rules should be applied:-

Clean Your house: On this auspicious day, clean your house with rock salt to remove negative energies in your house.

Use Vibrant Colours: Paint your house with nice vibrant colours to usher positive energies in your house

Renovate Door: If the doors of the room generate creaking sound renovate your door as it produces negative energies in your house

Use Fresh Flowers: On the day of the new year that is 1st Baisakh, offer fresh flowers to God to enhance positive energies in the house

Keep Photos of elders: It is a custom on the day of the Bihu to seek the blessings of seniors by touching their feet. In lieu, keeping photos of deceased relatives in the hall will attract blessings from them.

USE OF SPICES IN VAASTU

Indian spices in our kitchen are known to enhance the taste of the food. But very little is known about them that they can also be useful for fixing the Vaastu of the house. We will discuss the use of our spices in Vaastu.

BLACK PEPPER

1. Black pepper is associated with the planet Saturn. If the black pepper corns are kept in the right place then many problems related to Shani will go away.

2. If you are going out of the house for work related to finances, you should keep 11 whole grains of black pepper at the main door of the house.

3. To recover money, take 7 black peppercorns with camphor and burn them in a corner in the southern part of the house. Do this regularly to remove any negative energy related to financial recovery.

4. If the mind is distracted due to some reason and you are not able to take the right decision being unattentive, there are chances of financial loss. Take 12 grains of black pepper corns, mix 12 leaves of neem with it and grind it. Tie it in a cloth and regularly smell the mixture for some time before sunrise. This will calm both your mind and help you focus your mind.

5. In case of shortage of funds, keep 7 whole black peppercorns in your purse or wallet. You will be amazed that money will be available to you very soon !

6. Carry 9 cloves with you which will protect you against negative energy.

STAR ANISE

This brings luck. Carry them in your pocket while going for interviews or business deals.

FENNEL SEEDS (SAUNF)

Fennel seeds are supposed to induce good sleep. Put them in a pouch and keep under the pillow for sound sleep

CARDAMOMS (ELAICHI) are supposed to attract wealth.

Q .1. I am planning to open a new restaurant during Bihu. Please suggest Vaastu for the same.

1. Set up restaurant in your favourable direction.

As per Vaastu, for restaurant facing east direction is considered lucky.

Your restaurant should have the vibrant and positive energy with bright coloirs. It also increases the appetite of the customer and attracts more of them. Yellow , orange, red are some of the recommended colours

Lighting in restaurant is a very important factor. It should be bright and shiny. It represents warmth.

Burners in the kitchen should be placed at Southeast facing east..

Keep an aquarium in the restaurant, especially in the northeast corner.

Use mirrors on the east and north walls as it increases positivity and prosperity.

Try to keep the main entrance in either northeast, east or north direction.

Northeast corner of the restaurant should be clean and tidy.

The manager should sit facing the North direction.

Kitchen should be in the Southeast direction. Northwest is the second option

Keep the store room of the restaurant in the southwest direction.

Electrical equipment like generators, invertors, switchboards etc. should be placed in the Southeast direction.

Toilets or utilities should be built in the Northwest or West direction.

Q.2. I have a north facing plot. I want to build an Assam type house having two large rooms and a guest room. Can you send me an ideal plan as per Vaastu ?
