55-year-old arrested in Bhopal for allegedly raping cow

The cow rape in Bhopal was reportedly picked up by CCTV cameras in a dairy farm at the Sundar Nagar area

Guwahati: In a truly bizarre incident, a 55-year-old man from Sundar Nagar in Bhopal has been booked for allegedly raping a cow at a dairy farm.

"The incident took place on July 4 and the accused has been booked under Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code", Alok Srivastava, Ashoka Garden police station in-charge, Bhopal, told media.

Srivastava said that on July 4, a man named Sabir Ali, 55 entered a diary in Sundar Nagar and although Ram Yadav, the owner, caught him, Ali was allowed to leave. Yadav while checking CCTV footage the next day, saw Ali doing an unnatural act (sex) with the cow.

Srivastava further informed that Yadav has filed a complaint in the police station and Sabir Ali has been booked under Section 377 and arrested.
