Just before his final rites were to be given, Sher Singh, who had been declared dead by a doctor, suddenly came back to life. His family was shocked and ecstatic when he unexpectedly started breathing again after the funeral preparations were over and they had taken out the nasal tube before giving him a bath.

The doctor from one of Yamunanagar's most prestigious private hospitals had declared Sher Singh dead. Funeral rites had already been started by the family; the bier was ready, the wood for the cremation had reached the crematorium, and mourning family members had brought a shroud. For visitors who had come from a distance, food was also prepared.
But when Sher Singh was placed on the cot and the ventilation tube was taken out, a miracle happened. He opened his eyes and started coughing, much to the surprise of everyone around him.

His condition is currently stable after his relatives rushed him back to the hospital and gave him water right away. The removal of the pipe and Sher Singh's unexpected breath interrupted the funeral rites with pleasure, according to former Sarpanch Ranjit Singh.
The family was ecstatic to welcome Sher Singh back among them, having already set up the shroud and bier. The family members who had assembled then had a festive dinner before going back to their houses.
