Delhi man hires contract killer, gives expensive Beretta pistol to kill wife's boyfriend

New Delhi: It may sound weird but is actually equally shocking and dangerous too that suspicion in marriage can lead to such dangerous outcomes. In a recent incident, a man is found to have led to a dangerous crime driven by suspicion of his wife's alleged engagement with a man. The husband, based in Delhi, suspected that his wife is in an extra-marital relationship with a businessman.

As stated by the police, the Delhi man, furious at his wife's alleged relationship with a businessman in his neighbourhood, hires a contract killer and gives him an expensive Beretta pistol to kill the alleged boyfriend of his wife. Not only this, he even gave the contract killer the pistol to be kept as payment.

However, the contract killer, Kulveer Dagar was apprehended by police from southwest Delhi's Najafgarh form whom the expensive pistol too was recovered. As informed by the police, the weapon costs around Rs 6 lakh.

Reportedly, the contract killer Dagar fired a shot at the alleged male friend of the woman who is a resident of Hari Nagar in Delhi on July 23. Fortunately for the businessman, the bullet missed him and hits the wall and he could escape unhurt.

On being investigated into the matter, the police could find that the contract killer is associated with the incident. Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime) Joy Tirkey said that the crime branch team found his involvement in the firing and acting on a tip-off, they waited for apprehending the killer. The DCP said, "Dagar was caught with the Beretta pistol and two bullets." Later, during the interrogation, Dagar confessed of being hired by Sonu Pandit who asked him to kill the businessman with the pistol.

The Police officer stated that "Pandit gave him the high-end Beretta pistol to shoot the businessman. The payment was the Beretta pistol itself."
