Family court serves notice to Lalu Prasad daughter-in-law Aishwarya, Asks to be present in court

Guwahati: Just like the Tej Pratap Yadav and Aishwarya Rai marriage was in news for the grand celebrations and similarly, their divorce plea too is in news now as the duo’s divorce proceedings are in progress in Bihar family court. In accordance with the proceedings, Aishwarya is scheduled to appear before it on January 8 in connection with the divorce petition filed by her husband.

Before this, Tej, son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad, had appeared in front of the court on November 29. Following this, the family court had issued a notice to his wife asking her to be present in front of the court on January 8.

Speaking on the court summon to Aishwarya Rai, Tej Pratap’s lawyer Yashwant Kumar Sharma says, “I hope she will appear before the court on January 8 to clear her stand.”

The couple had got married on May 12 and by November they filed for their divorce which recorded a pretty small time of conjugal life. The duo proved to be one of the mismatched couples for which their married life could not last long. In fact, even after their engagement, there was news of their incompatibility. While Aishwarya completed her post graduation from Delhi’s Lady Sri Ram College, Tej Pratap had dropped studies after class 11. Right from their educational background to many other things, there were many incompatible factors between the two which finally led them to break their relationship.

It was just a month ago that Tej Pratap Yadav had said, “I was made a scapegoat for the political benefits of several people in my family and party.”

Tej Pratap has always been found saying that he was never ready for the wedding. Before leaving for the jail to meet his ailing father, Tej said, “There is no match between us. We both come from extremely different backgrounds. Our culture and grooming are poles apart. I was never ready for the wedding. I kept pleading but nobody took me seriously.”
