Due to mechanical issues, an IndiGo flight, 6E 2006, from Delhi to Leh, had to make an emergency landing. Shortly after reaching Leh, the plane, carrying about 180 passengers, including crew, circled around and made a safe landing in Delhi. Thankfully, everyone on board will be safe.

According to a statement from IndiGo, a mechanical problem forced flight 6E 2006 to return to its origin, resulting in operational limitations for the landing in Leh. Prior to resuming flights, the aircraft is undergoing the necessary repairs.
The airline added that a different plane has been scheduled to transport the passengers to Leh.

"IndiGo flight 6E 2006 operating from Delhi to Leh today, returned to origin due to a technical issue, which caused operational restrictions to land in Leh. As per procedures, the pilot returned back to Delhi. The aircraft is undergoing necessary maintenance before resuming operations. In the meantime, an alternative aircraft has been arranged to fly the customers to Leh," the airline said.

All of the passengers were safely removed from the airplane when it was quickly hauled back from the runway. Airport personnel helped with the deplaning process, and there have been no complaints of passengers being hurt or experiencing fear.
