Free books distributed

lbari, November 3: Amarjyoti Das, Officer-in-charge, EC, SIRD, distributed free books among the students and teachers of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Sarihatali  on Tuesday. Distributing free books among the students and teachers, Das said that students should endeavour to gather knowledge from an early stage. He urged the students to read more books, other than textbooks. “Knowledge is power and power can give the strength to fight the challenges of life,” said Das. The meeting held on the occasion was presided over by Dipty Baruah, the Pradhacharya  of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Sarihatali. Local people landed the role of the SIRD  district officer  as he gave away free books among the students  and teachers.
