'Government selling India totally': Congress attacks Centre
New Delhi: The Congress on Thursday slammed the government over the disinvestment of profitable public sector undertaking and accused it of selling India. Slamming the government, Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal told: “This government is going to sell India totally.” Hitting out at the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, the Congress leader said that they say that we are not selling the profitable PSUs. “But they are only selling the profitable companies. This means what the government says and does is completely different,” he said. Lamenting at the government, Venugopal said: “On one hand they are saying nationalism — Make in India and on the other hand they are selling the entire profitable PSUs.” He said Congress will raise these issues in Parliament.
