In View of Strike by Lawyers, Security Tightened at Tis Hazari Court

New Delhi: In view of the strike by lawyers in the Tis Hazari court, security is being enhanced in other courts in Delhi also. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Eish Singhal met the District Judge Yashwant Kumar of the Patiala House Court regarding the security situation in the court premises. Sources said Singhal was accompanied by two additional DCPs — Deepak Yadav and Ajay Tomar — during the meeting. The Delhi Police was adopting a cautious approach with regards to the security deployment in other court premises in the national capital following the Saturday violence between the lawyers and the police. Earlier, security at the Tis Hazari complex was tightened on Monday following the lawyer's strike. (IANS)
