
NEW DELHI: India is all set to provide the longest bus service that will move from the national capital Delhi to London which is the largest and capital city of England.
This new proposed project will give exciting experiences to travellers across the country and with the ease of the border relation of India and Myanmar the news turns out to be more realistic.
With the normalization of the movement on the India-Myanmar border, 'Adventure Overland' made the announcement to continue the proposed travel by bus from Delhi to London.
The travelers will enjoy the longest journey in a luxury bus that will be well-equipped for comfortable travel. The service is likely to begin from the month of September this year.
Notably, this is not the first bus service from India to the west as earlier in 1957 the British Company introduced a bus service that was available from Kolkata to London.
The bus service was running even after the independence but was stopped in the year 1973. The travelling by bus from India to London at that time took 45 days to complete the journey.
TIME & DISTANCE:
It is informed that the distance from Delhi to London will be approximately about 20, 000 kilometers. It will take more than 2 months i.e. about 70 days to reach the destination. Throughout the journey of more than 2 months, the travelers will get the opportunity to travel and explore several countries.
COST:
According to information received, the complete travel expenses from Delhi to London by bus will cost Rupees 15 lakh. The amount sounds very expensive but this 15 lakh will include everything on your way such as visa expenses, bus fare and staying in different countries.
ROUTE:
The bus service from Delhi to London will be crossing 18 countries on its way and the countries include India, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium and UK.
