MADHYA PRADESH: The police in Jabalpur district of Madhay Pradesh has arrested a person after he reportedly thrashed his girlfriend to death and applied chili power on her private part.

The accused man identified as Pappu Gadhewal who fled from the spot after the incident but was later arrested by police.

According to report of police, they have found the body of the girl identified as Shalini inside the house of the accused.

Additional SP Gopal Khandel stated that police have recovered a stone with blood marks near the body and chilli power applied on her private part.

The police official informed that they have also found a later in which 'Pyaar Mei Dhokha' along with the name Veera was written.

Later, the police found that Shalini was in touch with a person named Veera.

People informed the police that both Pappu and Shalini used to stay together.

However, during interrogation Pappu revealed that he had killed the Shalini.

"The accused stated that even after asking her several times not to talk with others, she didn't stop of talking with other men, following which he planned to kill her." said the police officer.
"In the murder night, when she was sleeping, he killed her by hitting in her head with a stone, after killing her he went to his work as usual." added Khandel.

Meanwhile, the death of a youth named Abdul Goni has triggered sensation in Sivasagar. Upper Assam Muslim Kalyan Parishad and Aoikya Sena, Assam have demanded Sivasagar District Administration to a high level inquiry into the death of Abdul Goni, son of Late Sirajul Ali of Dui-Ali Majgaon, Baniabari, who was found dead under mysterious condition on August 30.

The members of both the organizations said in its memorandum submitted to the Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner the case, as per statement of the victim's family, seems to be a planned murder.

There might have been some people involved in the death of the youth since the family members informed that some blood stains and wine bottles have been found near a jungle.
