Moran Town FC, Dibrugarh Railway Division SC move

DIBRUGARH, Dec 19 :  Moran Town Football Club and Dibrugarh Railway Division Sports Club won their respective matches in the 13th Captain Jintu Gogoi, VrC Memorial Football Tourment played at at Chowkidinghee field Dibrugarh on Monday.

The first match was played between Sonowal Kachari Students Union Football Club Tengakhat and Moran Town Football Club.  Both the teams exhibited competitive spirit and scored one each in the first half.  Tomba Singh of Moran Club netted in 8th minute while Hirakjyoti Moran levelled the score in 26th minute.   In the second half, Sakirul Ali of Moran Club scored the decider in the second half.

The second match of the day was played in the afternoon between Dibrugarh Railway Division Sports Club and Haluwating F.C. (Amguri).   Both the teams scored 1-1 goal during the gruelling regulation time.  The resulted was decided by pelty shootout in which Dibrugarh Railway Division Sports Club beat Haluwating F.C. (Amguri) by 6-5.

Tomorrow, Tinsukia Railway Division Sports Club will take on Duliajan Football Academy.
