
NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education announced on December 19 that the 8th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) is set to take place in January 2025.
This interactive session, where the Prime Minister engages with students, will be held ahead of the annual school examinations nationwide.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is an event where Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with students from Classes 6 to 12, offering guidance to help them manage exam-related stress and pressure.
Held at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the event also sees active participation from school teachers and students.
The education ministry, in its press release, stated, "Conceptualised to reduce examination stress and encourage students, teachers, and parents to celebrate life as an 'Utsav,' PPC has been a resounding success over the past seven years."
Registration for the 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha opened on December 14 and will remain available until January 14, 2025.
The education ministry stated, "For interaction with the Prime Minister, an attempt shall be made to select questions by students, teachers and parents from diverse regions of India covering varied topics. Questions from students abroad shall also be included as was done in previous years."
For Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025, two students from Classes 9 to 12 and a teacher from each State and Union Territory, along with winners of Kala Utsav, participants from Veer Gatha, PRERANA alumni, and representatives from PM SHRI schools, will be invited as special guests for the main event.
In 2024, the program witnessed participation from 2.26 crore individuals, including 2.06 crore students, 14.93 lakh teachers, and 5.69 lakh parents.
