After PM Modi drew the attention of the world through his cave meditation a few days before the announcement of the general elections results, pilgrims in huge number are seen looking for a reservation of the cave at the GMVN website.

The cave in which PM Narendra Modi had meditated was a cave at the Kedarnath shrine. Reportedly, hundreds of pilgrims are logging into the GMVN website daily in search of a reservation of the cave for meditational purposes. This is to be noted here that the cave was not so popular and widely known before Modi chose to meditate in it. All thanks to the Prime Minister that the Kedarnath cave is turning into a hot favourite meditational spot for the devotees.

The cave, also known as the “dhyan gufa” (meditation cave) is reserved for the whole month of July and even the advance bookings for the months of August, September and October are almost done and this very well indicates how popular and widely in demand among the pilgrims.

Rana further said that pilgrims from different parts of the country are seen to have logged in the GMVN website with an intention to book the cave. The prime minister had visited the cave in May this year and ever since then, not a single day has passed when the “dhyan gufa” was not occupied. This is rather good news for the temple authority as the booking of the cave has led them to earn good revenue for the temple. POm Modi’s use of the cave has worked amazingly towards increasing the cave’s popularity.

The Kedernath shrine, located at a height 12,500 feet, has prompted the district administration to plan for three more meditation caves.

Moreover, the success that PM Modi achieved in the Lok Sabha elections results also encouraged people to look for a chance to mediate in it and fulfill their wishes.
