Road mishaps

SHILLONG, April 25: A driver of a Ford Ikon along with a co-traveller sustained injuries when the vehicle collided with a truck parked on the side of the road. The Ford Ikon was proceeding towards Shillong when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The incident happened at 18th Mile in Byrnihat under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on the April 24, 2016 at 3.06 am.
The victims identified as S Hussain (27) and S Datta (24) was immediately shifted to GNRC, Guwahati. In another incident, riding his cycle on the side of the road, Burman Das (45) sustained injuries after he was hit by a motorbike.
