NEW DELHI: According to reports, a 12-year-old boy was detained on Thursday for allegedly raping a one-year-old girl in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The boy is known to the household, and the event happened on Wednesday, according to the father of the child's allegation.

The child has since been sent to an Agra children's home. According to the complaint, the youngster informed the victim's nine-year-old sister that he would take the infant and return shortly as she was giving the baby milk in a bottle.

The guy allegedly took the infant to a deserted location where he allegedly raped her sexually. After around 30 minutes, he sent the bleeding baby home, according to the complaint. The assault allegedly took place when the child's parents weren't home, according to the lawsuit.

When the mother came back, she saw that her infant was bleeding and inquired about what had happened to her older daughter. After that, the parents hurried to the police department to file a complaint.

According to the authorities, the infant was receiving care at an Aligarh government hospital. Meanwhile, on June 21, the head of a city-based ashram, Swami Poornananda, age 63, was detained by Visakhapatnam police for allegedly raping a young girl living in his orphanage.

After receiving a complaint from a 15-year-old girl who said the ashram leader had frequently raped and tortured her at the Swami Gnanananda Ashram in Venkojipalem, the police made the arrest.

After finishing Class 5, the victim girl said she was sent to the ashram's orphanage. She made claims about the ashram's residents being mistreated by the staff. While driving to Vijayawada, the young girl allegedly broke free from the ashram and told another passenger about her trauma. According to reports, the ashram housed 12 orphans, including four girls. The ashram's members have, in the meantime, refuted claims that the ashram leader sexually exploited the complainant girl.
