Bhopal: In a horrifying incident in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh, the police reported that a woman's genitals were sewed by her husband on the suspicion of cheating. Both the woman and her husband are residents of Raila Village in Singrauli.

The Assistant Superintendent of Police of Singrauli, Anil Sonkar, said that a case has been filed against the husband.

"A case has been filed against the accused after his wife reported the matter," he said. Sonkar also added that the culprit is absconding presently.

According to sources, the woman expressed that she does not want any harsh action to be taken against her husband. She claims that she reported this matter to have her husband scolded by police so that he refrains from doing such an act in near future.

The police have informed the press that the woman is currently being treated in a local hospital. Her condition is also said to be stable.

In earlier news, a man in Madhya Pradesh had climbed a tree with his wife's aadhar card to make sure that none of them was administered vaccine doses.

The man identified as Kanwarlal climbed the tree near the vaccination centre and stayed there till the vaccination camp for the day was completed. Although his wife agreed to take the vaccine, he took her Aadhar card with him to ensure she remained unvaccinated as well.
