NEW DELHI: Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the head of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and a BJP MP, is accused of harassing certain female wrestlers, and Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait called for his arrest on Friday.

Additionally, Rakesh Tikait granted the federal authorities until June 9 to apprehend Brij Bhushan Singh.

They have so far documented the accounts of 125 persons, and four of them have backed up the claims made by three female wrestlers.

They are four of the 125 prospective witnesses from four different states whose testimonies Delhi Police has taken down.

He called her to his room on the day she won a gold medal in a major competition, forced her to sit on his bed against her will, and "forcefully" held her. He continued his "continuous acts of sexual harassment and repeated indecent advances" over a period of years, leaving her disturbed by the harassment.
