Srinagar: Three police personnel, including an Assistant Sub Inspector, from Jammu and Kashmir police attained martyrdom on Monday after two terrorists attacked a police bus near a police camp at Zewan on the outskirts of Srinagar last evening.
Notably, the two policemen martyred last night while the other one succumbed to injuries this morning.
The Injured police personnel have shifted to the hospital where the condition of some is said to be critical.
However, in the attacker were also got injured in retaliatory firing.
To nab the attackers, the security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
Notably, two days back, there was also an attack on police team in Kashmir's Badipora district where two policemen were martyred.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought details over the attack.
Taking to micro-blogging site, the PMO said, "PM @narendramodi has sought details on the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. He has also expressed condolences to the families of those security personnel who have been martyred in the attack,"
