New Delhi: The rift between the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government continued to widen as the latter was yet again ignored in the invitation for the inauguration of newly constructed Rani Jhansi flyover scheduled for Tuesday. Union Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan is set to inaugurate the flyover, constructed by the BJP-controlled municipal body, on Tuesday.
“The prestigious newly constructed Rani Jhansi Grade Separator will be inaugurated on Tuesday, October 16 at 10.30 a.m. by Union Science and Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan near Filmistan at Rani Jhansi Road,” reads the invitation. “The ceremony would be graced by Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Statistics and Programme Implementation Vijay Goel, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri, Lt Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal, BJP National Vice President Shyam Jaju, BJP Delhi Pradesh President MP Manoj Tiwari, MP Meenakshi Lekhi, Mayor Adesh Kumar Gupta will preside over the function,” it added.
