Actress Tamannaah Bhatia's parents test positive for COVID-19

Guwahati: 'Baahubali' actressTamannaah Bhatia announced on Wednesday that her parents have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Taking to social media, the actress shared the news through a letter. She informed that her parents - father Santosh and mother Rajani - showed 'mild COVID-19 symptoms' of the infection over the weekend after which everyone at their home got tested for the virus.

Tamannaah also stated "The necessary authorities have been updated of their situation and we are complying with the precautionary guidelines. The rest of the family members, including myself and staff have tested negative."

As per reports, the results showed that her parents were Covid-positive, however, the rest of the family members, including herself and the staff have tested negative for the dreaded virus.

Mumbai-based actress Bhatia's parents are currently doing better, and she thanked her enthusiasts and well-wishers for their prayers.

"By the Grace of God they are coping well and all your prayers and blessings will put them on the road to recovery," the actress added.
