Aishwarya Rai, Jaya Bachchan and Aaradhya test negative for coronavirus

Bollywood's leading star Amitabh Bachchan and his son has tested positive for Coronavirus which they announced on their twitter handles on Saturday at around 9:30.

"I have tested Covid positive, shifted to hospital, hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited," Big B tweeted.currently admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai.

His son and actor Abhishek Bachchan has also tested positive and is admitted to the hospital. Junior Bachchan described them both as having mild symptoms. 

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan's wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan's wife, actress Jaya Bachchan tested negative. Abhishek and Aishwarya's daughter, Aaradhya, also tested negative for the novel coronavrus. They are in isolation.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan has urged anyone who came in contact with him in the past 10 days to get tested.

Bachchan has been very active in the country's fight against the novel coronavirus. From appearing in public service ads to lending support to relief efforts, he has been doing it all.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope stated "Only Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's corona report has come as of now. Their family members, staff, drivers etc have been tested for the deadly virus at Nanavati Hospital and the reports are expected to come tomorrow(July 12).

Many other prominent personalities and thousands of users  wished him a speedy recovery on Twitter.

As per sources, it has been reported that, Jalsa bungalow has already been sanitised. BMC will also seal Prateeksha and other buildings in the area and will be sanitised soon.
