Ambani, Adani Must Be Worshipped For Creating Jobs: BJP MP K.J Alphons In Parliament

New Delhi: BJP MP K.J Alphons on Thursday said that the industrialists like Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani must be worshipped for creating jobs and pumping large investments in the country.

His comments came during a Budget debate in the Rajya Sabha over unemployment in the country.

Speaking during the debate, Alphons asserted that one can accuse him of being the mouthpiece of the capitalists but the people who have contributed to the country by creating jobs need to be respected.

''Let me name those people, because you have named them. Be it Reliance, be it Ambani, be it Adani, be it anybody, they must be worshipped. Yes, because they provide jobs,'' he said.

He further tear apart oppositions over the allegations that the rich are growing richer and government policies are benefiting corporate houses, Alphons argued that according to think tank, the same had steered the country to the patch of growth, amid pandemic.

He further said that while every country honours people who create jobs, the opposition in India believes in shaming them.

''You shame them instead of honouring and recognising them,'' he added.

Supporting his arguments, the BJP MP also said that even wealth of global corporate leaders like Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and bill Gates had grown too.
