Amit Shah lashes out at AAP's Arvind Kejriwal for making claims on "education revolution"

NEW DELHI: Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, Government of India has shared a video to dent a claim made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after the latter invited the former asking him to visit Delhi government-run schools.

The video shared by Shah shows the abysmal state of schools the BJP team visited. The video shows leaking roof, damaged furniture and horrible conditions of the toilets.

February 8 is the date for the Delhi assembly elections.

There are a total of seventy seats in the Delhi Assembly out of which the Aam Aadmi Party won sixty-seven the last time. Mainly three political parties are in the fray – the Aam Aadmi Party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the Congress.

To ensure larger voter participation in Delhi Assembly polls, the Election Commission has announced a postal ballet facility for absentee voters.

“We have allowed the absentee voters to vote through postal ballot this time. Absentee voters include PwD (person with a disability) and senior citizens (above 80 years). They will have to submit form 12D between January 14 and January 19 to avail the facility,” said Ranbir Singh, Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi.
