New Delhi: Several well-wishers and ardent followers of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose has begun an online petition seeking the installation of the statue of Netaji at India Gate on the occasion of his 125th birth anniversary on January 23, 2021.

A social activist named Devdutta Maji has started this petition addressed to President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others.

The petition comes ahead of the 2021 Assembly elections in West Bengal.
