Apple iOS 15 All Set To Be Released: Check Out New Features, List of Compatible iPhones And More
New Delhi: The latest Apple iOS 15 update is all set to be released. The update will be available for iPhone 6S and above devices.
Apple had recently revealed its iPhone 13 series at its California streaming event and confirmed the release date of the iOS 15 update.
The new Apple iOS 15 update boasts of some cool features such as redesigned notifications, new Focus mode, text recognition in pictures, new privacy features, some redesigns in Safari, Maps, Weather, and company apps. Compatible devices of Apple will also receive Spatial audio and SharePlay in FaceTime calls.
The users can manually check the new iOS 15 update on their compatible iPhones via Settings>General>Software Update.
The Apple mobile handsets that are compatible with the new iOS 15 are iPhone SE (1st generation), iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and new iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Users of iPhones can download the update via Settings and install the new iOS 15 on their devices.
As a part of their new update, Apple has redesigned notifications and have introduced an all-new notification summary. In addition, the Focus mode filters notifications and apps based on the user's preference has also been launched for the first time. This includes creating a custom Focus to filter notifications based on what the user prefers. Auto-reply can also be turned on for contacts when the user has turned on Focus while driving.
A new bottom tab bar has also been added to the Safari browser with the addition of tab group syncing, a customisable start page, new privacy protection, HTTPS upgrade, and web extension on iOS.
The all-new Live text in photos can read and copy numbers and text in a picture, screenshot, Safari browser and in the Camera app.
Memories in the Photos app can now include songs from Apple Music and will have a new look that will include animated cards with adaptive titles, new animation, transition styles, and more.
One of the most important featured that has been added to the new iOS 15 update is the SharePlay feature in FaceTime which will enable users to watch or listen together in real-time. The screen of the users can also be shared when SharePlay is turned on. Spatial audio support will also be given to FaceTime.
