New Delhi: As the festive season has arrived in India, people gatherings can be seen at shops, malls and eateries, but before spending at these places, one should definitely need money. Here come the banks which play an important role whenever one needs money.
In October 2021, starting from October 12th, banks will remain closed for total 12 days although online banking activities will continue to work. Including the holidays on second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays, in this month of October, there are many occasions like Gandhi Jayanti, Valmiki Jayanti, Navratri, Dussehra, Eid-e-Milad, which will be a holiday in banks.
However, the bank holidays may vary from state to state including bank holidays in Odisha as some of the holidays/festivals falling in the month are related to a particular state or region.
