BJP Has Mastery In Communalism, Says Chhattisgarh CM

Lucknow: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who reached Kanpur on Sunday for Uttar Pradesh's election campaign, took a jibe at BJP over the Hijab controversy and said the saffron party has mastery in communalism.

During the second phase of Uttar Pradesh elections, Bhupesh Baghel, who arrived in Kanpur to do a door-to-door campaign, targeted the BJP fiercely.

Baghel also said that those who started the hijab controversy in Karnataka are fully unaware of the end.

''The principal of the college should have called the parents of the girls and talked to them on this issue. Now, it is the time for Yogi and Modi to leave,'' he added.

Meanwhile, while turning back to UP's election topic, Baghel asserted that the Congress party will definitely perform well.

''Other parties are seeking votes on the basis of religion and caste, while the Congress party is fighting elections on the issue of common people,'' he said.

Baghel said that the main issue of Congress is farmers should get price, unemployed should get work and women should get respect.

''Priyanka Gandhi's slogan 'Ladki hoon lade sakti hoon' has instilled confidence in women and this time change will definitely happen,'' he added.
