Tamil Nadu : In a bizarre incident that has sent shockwaves across the country, a young man in Tamil Nadu, who was kept in home quarantine as per the COVID-19 protocol, on Friday moved out from his home suddenly and bit a woman to death. The man was naked when the incident happened, said the police. According to police sources, the man, a resident of Jakkamanayakanpatti of the state, recently returned to home from Sri Lanka. Then, as per the COVID-19 protocol he was sent to home quarantine for 14 days. But, on Friday evening he moved out from his home all of a sudden, ran naked and fatally bit a neighbouring woman. However, an eyewitness captured the man and handed him to the police. On the other hand, the injured woman was admitted to the Bodi Government Hospital. On Saturday, she succumbed to her injuries, doctors said.
