New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam date of Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET). The exam would be held on January 31, 2021 in 135 cities across the country.

Earlier, the examination was scheduled for July 5 ,2020.

The examination would be conducted while adhering to all COVID-19 protocol.

The CBSC board decided to increase the number of cities for the examination keeping in mind that social distance and other hygiene protocol has to be maintained.

The newly added cities for the exam are Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa Ludhiana, Ambedkar Nagar, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Deoria, Gonda, Saran, Bhilai/ Durg, Bilaspur, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur and Udham Singh Nagar. Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur and Udham Singh Nagar.
