Circle Inspector Salutes his DSP Daughter in Andhra Pradesh, Heartwarming Photo Goes Viral

Guntur (Andhra Pradesh): A child's achievement always makes their parents proud. Recently, a very happy picture has surfaced on the internet, which has won many hearts. The picture is a sweet moment between a father and daughter, where the father is seen saluting his Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) daughter. Circle Inspector Shyam Sundar salutes his daughter, Jessi Prashanti, who is a DSP cadre in Andhra Pradesh.

The Twitter account of Andhra Pradesh Police shared a picture of the sweet moment of their account. They captioned the picture as:

"#APPolice1stDutyMeet brings a family together! Circle Inspector Shyam Sundar salutes his own daughter Jessi Prasanti who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police with pride and respect at #IGNITE which is being conducted at #Tirupati. A rare & heartwarming sight indeed! #DutyMeet"

The reports say that Jessi Prashanti is an engineering graduate, who belongs to the 2018 batch of DSPs. She is one among those from the first batch of DSPs that trained Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of the state. She also cracked the Andhra Pradesh Public Commission Group 1. Currently, she is the Guntur Urban South DSP.

However, Prashanti was not really comfortable with her father saluting her. She said that this was the first time she met her father on duty. Even though she asked him not to salute her, he did. She also returned the salute. She further said that her father is her inspiration. She said she has grown up seeing him serve the people relentlessly. He has helped people in every possible way, she added. She said that it is because of him that made her choose the department she is in. She has a very positive outlook toward the department.

Another picture surfaced last year, where a proud father was seen checking the stars on his daughter's uniform.
