Congress To Constitute "Empowered Action Group-2024" To Discuss Political Challenges

New Delhi: The Congress on Monday announced to constitute an "Empowered Action Group-2024" to address the political challenges ahead.

It will also organize 'Chintan Shivir' in Rajasthan's Udaipur from 13-15 to deliberate on organizational restructuring and other issues to strengthen the party.

While speaking to reporters, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that the party president has received a report from the eight-member group constituted by her on April 21.

'' Today she had a discussion over the report and based on the outcome of the discussion, the Congress president has decided to constitute an Empowered Action Group-2024 in order to address the political challenges ahead,'' he added.

Meanwhile, Surjewala didn't reveal anything about poll strategist Prashant Kishor's induction into the party.

Around 400 Congressmen and women from every state are expected to participate.
