Coronavirus: 4 lakh masks worth Rs 1 crore seized by Vile Parle police in Mumbai

Mumbai: In the second such operation in two days, the Vile Parle police swooped on a private warehouse and seized 400,000 masks worth around Rs 1 crore hoarded there, an official said here on Wednesday.

The consignment stored in 200 boxes was apparently intended for sale in the black market or export since the masks are currently in high demand worldwide due to the coronavirus pandemic. (IANS)
