Desi Spider-Man: Thief Snatches Phone From Moving Train While Hanging From Railway Bridge

Begusarai: Ever heard of a phone getting snatched from a moving train, that too from someone who is not present inside the train? It would certainly seem bizarre to the human mind but it indeed has happened.

In a ridiculous incident, a man snatched a mobile phone from a moving train in Bihar while he was perched on a bridge. 

This mind-boggling incident has completely left the people in a state of shock with many failing to come to terms with what they have witnessed.

The video has gone viral and has sent netizens into a frenzy and some have even gone on to compare the thief to Spider-Man.

The incident unravelled when two passengers were sitting at the door of a train compartment as it crossed Ganga and one of them was holding the mobile phone in his hand to capture the moment.

Tragedy struck when he stretched his hand to film the river and suddenly out of nowhere, his phone vanished, leaving him startled and the theft happened within a blink of an eye.

He stood up in a state of disbelief and signalled to the other passenger that his phone is gone.

What is more astonishing is the fact that the thief was hanging from the frame of the bridge, patiently waiting to snatch passengers' phones.

It is impossible to catch the blink-and-you-miss-it theft on camera, and the moment is only visible when the video is seen in slow-motion.

As per reports, the incident took place in Begusarai on the Patna-Katihar Intercity Express earlier this week and it apparently happened on Rajendra Setu, the rail bridge connecting Patna and Begusarai.

The report said that such kinds of robberies happen more often than one can imagine as thieves make the passengers sitting near train's doors their victims.
