Disgraced: 3-Year-Old Girl Sexually Abused In School Van In Bhopal, Conductor arrested

One of those shameful act that India has faced again as once again a three-year-old girl child of pre-nursery was allegedly sexually abused by the conductor of her school van. She was abused by the driver on her way home on Thursday in Ayodhya Nagar area in Bhopal.

The accused was detained by Police on Friday. According to Police inspector Baljeet Singh, "The accused is claiming he is 17 years of age. We are verifying his age."

The inspector informed that the victim reveals about this licentious crime after she returned home around 2 PM.

When her mother became suspicious about the incident and inquired more about the minor girl named the bus conductor who committed this shameful act.

Baljeet Singh further said the survivor lives with her parents in a covered campus colony. She was newly admitted to a prenursery private school located at Ayodhya Bypass.

The victim's parents later lodged a police complaint against the van conductor, the police inspector said.

The incident occurred on Thursday when the pre-nursery student was returning home at around 2pm in a 14-seater van which has been hired by the school. According to a report by Indiatimes When the little girl reached home, her mother spotted traces of blood on her undergarment upon which she asked the cause behind it upon which the girl revealed about the incident.

The accused was charged for rape under the amended Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 376 AB, which said punishment for rape of girls under the age of 12, and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The Madhya Pradesh Assembly Last year, unanimously passed a bill to introduce the death penalty for those found guilty of raping minors aged 12 years or younger.

But unfortunately, the woman caretaker who was guiding the children in the school van pleaded ignorance about any such incident.

In June this year, a 25-year-old youth was given a death sentence for raping and killing a six-year-old girl in Gwalior.

In another incident, a 10-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three people, including her paternal uncle, at Saket Nagar in Bhopal and the case came to light in May this year.

Another horrifying incident in Madhya Pradesh when an eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man, who kidnapped her from outside her school in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur and later tried to kill her.

Madhya Pradesh has been gripped by Sexual crimes against minors and girls in recent times just like the rest of India.
