Ever heard of the Pani Puri ATM? Vending machine becomes a rage on social media

Guwahati: We will all agree that 2020 has been a grim year for all of us, but we do deserve a respite and this is the happiest news of 2020 according to some Twitter handles.

Someone (who can be rightfully touted as an "angel") had a genius idea and assembled a machine that dispenses the favorite street food of most Indians, PANI-PURI! Even those who don't react like Pavlov's dogs at the mention of pani-puri, can marvel at the technological genius of this machine. Brilliant, isn't it!?

A video demonstrating the working of the machine by a man has been extensively shared on Twitter. The video begins with him pressing a start button and ends with the man happily consuming a gol-gappa, dispensed from the machine.

A Twitter user noted the excellence of this machine in terms of contactless and hygienic dispense of Pani Puri. "The buttons can be easily sanitized. This will surely be a hit," the Twitterati expressed his joy.

As expected, Indians on twitter expressed their excitement at the existence of such a machine. And the thrill is contagious. One Twitter use wrote "Amazing. Seriously innovative." Another inquired if "Free wali papdi milti hai isme", which is a common joke surrounding Pani-puri (as Indians often ask for a freebie after every pain puri meal).

The machine has been aptly named as "Pani Puri ATM" by many Twitter users. "Yeh sure super hit Hoga during a lockdown" (this machine is sure to be a super-hit during lockdown), one user wrote on Twitter, expressing confidence that the machine will be a sure-shot hit.

This is absolutely the kind of miracle that is needed in 2020.
