They booked the chopper to bring the baby girl and her mother home as she was born into the family after a gap of 35 long years.
Hanuman Prajapat and his wife Chuki Devi met their daughter-in-law two months ago in
's Nagaur district hospital where she gave birth to a baby girl. From the hospital, the woman went to her parents' house in Harsolav village with the baby. On the auspicious occasion of Ramnavami, the Prajapat decided to bring both the mother and the baby to their home.
A chopper was hired at a cost of over Rs 4.5 lakh to cover a distance of just 40 km.
"By bringing my two-month-old daughter in a helicopter, we want to tell everyone that the birth of a daughter is an occasion that should be celebrated like a festival. Instead of feeling sad, we should all be happy when a daughter is born," the father of the child said.

The baby's father said that girls and boys should be treated as equals. "It is usually seen that people do not celebrate the birth of a girl. There should be no discrimination between a girl and a boy. I will make my daughter study and fulfil all her dreams," he said.
It is not that the family is happy about the birth of a baby girl, the family is also very happy with their daughter-in-law from making them happy with a baby girl.
