Goldy Brar: Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Mastermind Arrested In California

NEW DELHI: According to sources, gangster Goldy Brar, one of the prime suspects in the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala, was caught in the US.

According to sources, Goldy Brar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, recently relocated from Canada, where he had been based since 2017, to the US.

The criminal was apprehended in California around November 20, according to the sources, who also noted that the Indian government has not yet received an official notification about the development from California.

After Sidhu Moose Wala was killed in May, Brar, who claimed responsibility for the crime, apparently felt pressured to relocate to the US.

He allegedly made Sacramento, Frizow, and Salt Lake City his safe haven while residing in the Californian city of Fresno.

The spy division of the Delhi Police, the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) of India, and their colleagues in Punjab reportedly received information that Goldy Brar's arrest had created a significant uproar in California.

A reward of two crores was recently demanded by the father of Sidhu Moose Wala for any information regarding Goldy Brar.

Speaking at a gathering in Amritsar, Balkaur Singh claimed that if the government was unable to provide the large prize, he would even be willing to pay it out of his own pocket.

Goldy Brar, a native of Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab, entered Canada in 2017 on a student visa. According to police, he was also a key player in the murder of a Dera Sacha Sauda adherent last month.

It should be mentioned that on May 29, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moosewala, was fatally shot in Punjab's Mansa district.

The incident happened a day after the Punjab Police removed his security, along with 424 other people.

Six shooters who formed two modules to take out the singer had been identified by police.
