Himachal Pradesh: 1 Dead, 6 Missing As Cloudburst Hits Kullu's Manikaran Valley

Shimla: A woman lost her life while six people are missing following a cloudburst at Chojh village in Challal panchayat in the Manikaran valley area of Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district on Wednesday.

Reportedly, Malana and Manikaran in the Kullu district have been cut off from the rest of the state.

Following the cloudburst, the rescue teams have been deployed in the area, however, the teams are finding it difficult to reach the spot.

Reports also claimed that at least five cattle have also been washed away in the flash floods.

Meanwhile, authorities fear more losses as following the weather condition in the state, debris was seen floating on the roads near Kasol.

Since Thursday morning, Kullu is receiving heavy rainfall and the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Wednesday as well.
