ICSE, ISC Results 2020 finally declared after COVID-19 delay

Guwahati: The ICSE class 10 result 2020 and ISC class 12 result 2020 have been declared on Friday, July 10. The results are now available on the official websites of the CISCE at cisce.org and results.cisce.org.

As many as 99.33% of students passed ICSE and 96.82% passed ISC examination this year. The class 10th and 12th results of the pending papers will be based on the student's performance in previous exams and internal assessment.

The results have been made available through the board website and SMS facility, stated Board Secretary Gerry Arathoon on Thursday. The CISCE board had to cancel six papers of ICSE or Class 10 and eight papers of ISC or Class 12 due to the Covid 19 outbreak. Both the ICSE and ISC exams, which were scheduled to be held in February and March, were postponed by the CISCE.

Students will get their respective mark sheet after 48 hours, digitally. This decision has been made so that the students do not have to visit their respective schools to get the mark sheets and Class 12 ISC students can apply for colleges.

The link to check the marks has been activated from Friday, July 10 at 3 pm. The students can get their mark sheet and passing certificate after 48 hours of the announcement of the results 2020 through the Digi locker mobile app.

As per sources, a total of 2,06,525 candidates have cleared the class 10 exams, known as the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), while 1,377 candidates have been unsuccessful. It is to be mentioned that the CISCE will not release the merit list this year.
