Interesting Story with New Twist of Boeing 720 Plane in Nagpur Airport Abandoned 24 Years Ago

NEW DELHI: Chris Coy a Twitter user on 12 October posted a tweet from his account narrating a story sharing important and interesting details of an aeroplane, a Boeing 720.

We all know that for 24 long years the Nagpur Airport had an aeroplane, a Boeing 720 as a guest who is never welcomed by the airport. In 1991 the plane landed on the Nagpur Airport as a result of an emergency that aroused from the engine of the plane but from then onwards it has never been flew out from there.

Chris Coy who is from St. Louis of Missouri through his recent tweet provides a twist to the incident occurred in the past by narrating the details of what actually happened according to him. He shared the information with a thread based on various sources of Newspapers, public records or his mom.

Chris Coy strongly believes that in the early 1990s his dad named Kevin Paul Croy who was an airplane mechanic fixed an empty left out abandoned aeroplane, Boeing 720. After fixing the plane his father had flew it away to India where it got abandoned for the second time which led the plane remain abandoned for next twenty four long years in the Nagpur Airport. Kevin Paul Croy, father of Chris Coy was an airplane mechanic in the Brown Field Municipal airport; he had taken over the complete responsibility to fly the aeroplane from United States to India.

Many has told Coy's father that he is just wasting his valuable time in his efforts trying to fix the plane but an tire magnate from India named Sam Veder asked to Coy's father to make it fix the plane. With the purpose to complete the testing of the flight both of them just needed to fly the plane across the border up to Tijuanna. The flight testing was done successfully and after which Coy's father and Sam Veder flew to India and that journey led them faces some problems. As they reached to India due to the sudden occurring of the emergency with the plane they landed it on the Nagpur airport.

Sam Veder tried to move the plane from Nagpur airport as soon as possible but the authorities in the airport doesn't allow him to have access to the plane. But in 2015 the new airport director took decision to solve the matter and in half an hour got rid of the plane from the airport. Something very interesting about the story of the plane is that Coy's father once lied to his wife that that particular plane keeps flying in India carrying passengers and chickens.
