Jharkhand: State toppers get cars, minister promises to adopt toppers to help them succeed

Jharkhand education Minister Jagarnath Mahto gifted Alto cars to the overall state toppers of Class 10 and 12

The minister also promised to adopt toppers from the next year so that they could complete their studies without any hurdles.

"Today, I fulfilled the commitment made earlier and also promised to adopt the state toppers from next year so that they do not have to face any hurdle in completing their studies and excel in their lives," he told sources.

Minister Mahto is himself an arts student of Class 11.

He also informed that he had been gifting laptops to the toppers of his constituency for 15 years.

Amit Kumar, class 12th topper exclaimed "It is really a proud moment for us that such a grand programme has been organized for us which will prove to be an encouraging factor, not only for us but for the coming generations,"

The event was organized in Jharkhand Assembly building, where speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto was also present.
