JoSAA Counselling 2021; Registration, and Other Important Details

The JoSAA Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the dates of 2021 JoSAA counselling on Tuesday 12 October for admission of candidates into the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). The dates of the counselling are provided on the official website of JoSAA i.e. josaa.nic.in.

The commencement of the date for registration of JoSAA by the authorities is from 16 of October which is the beginning of round one. The process of counselling is decided to begin after the announcement of the results of JEE Advance 2021. The results of round one of 2021 JoSAA counselling will be released by the authorities on 27 October. Although as per official notices the seat allotment to lock seats for the round second will be declared on 1st November.

The applicants and candidates those who get qualified are the one who is eligible to do the registration for JoSAA counselling 2021 in the website of JoSAA that will begin from 16 October. It is clearly mentioned in the official notice that registering for counselling on the JoSAA website is much required for the candidates as it is mandatory and each of the applicants who apply for registration will get the date and time provided by authorities for completing the process of admission.

Candidates are provided with some necessary information which includes that if for any reason they are told to come to the campus for the verification of physical abilities and needs to follow whatever has been told and report in time at the institution. But calling to the institute is only possible after the completion of the sixth round of counselling which will be the last round to get admission in NIT and IIT. After the finishing of the 6 round of counselling, there will be no other round therefore it will be the last stage to get qualified. Registration is a must be part of as without getting registered the applicants cannot go for the rounds held for counselling to take admission. All the candidates applying are informed and advised to keep a note of the important timeline provided by JoSAA.

• Go for the direct link for completion of registration

• Provide the information in the respective fields

• Fill in the choices and complete the process

• At last lock and review the choices already filled

The important requirement for registration in JoSAA counselling 2021 are that firstly the candidates need to be updated about the schedule released by the authority which will conduct the exam. Secondly, the candidates need to upload the necessary documents without any mistake in the portal of the candidate and also need to make payment through the online process. Thirdly candidates must keep in mind that only from round two to five they can make a withdrawal from their allotted seat and leave the process of counselling of JoSAA 2021.
