Jyotiraditya Scindia Congratulates Tata Sons For Winning Air India Bid, Calls It "New Dawn"

New Delhi: Tata Sons have won the final bid of Air India and bought the airline from the government for Rs. 18,000 crores.

Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia congratulated Tata Sons on this occasion and called it a "new dawn".

The Union Minister extended good wishes to the Tata Company on his official Twitter handle and wrote, "Air India's return to @TataCompanies marks a new dawn for the airline! My best wishes to the new management, and congratulations to @SecyDIPAM & @MoCA_GoI for successfully concluding the difficult task of paving a new runway for the airline to take off!"

In a second tweet, the Union Minister expressed his future hopes for the airlines. The tweet read, "I hope the airline will continue to deliver on its mission of bringing people closer through its successful operations."
