MUMBAI: Advocate Charanjeet Singh Chanderpal has filed a Plea against Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut demanding, censoring each and every social media post by her in future in regards to maintaining Law and order in the country.

The actress is well known for being straight-forward comments on political issues that often become controversial.

The advocate also mentioned transferring all the FIRs that has been filed around the country for her remarks on Farmers' protests to be transferred to the Khar Police Station of Mumbai and a charge sheet to be filled in less than 6 months with a speedy trial within two years of time.

The Advocate stated that Actress Kangana Ranaut's posts "are not only outrageous and blasphemous but also intend to cause riots".

Advocate Anil Kumar, through the plea that has been filed, stated that the court must order the Union Home Ministry, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India to adopt various restrictions and preventive measures on Ranaut's social media posts.

In order to maintain peace and order in the country, none of her social media posts should be allowed without revision, deletion, modification, or censorship, stated by Chanderpal in the plea.

The complaints received and FIRs registered against her social media posts referring to the Khar Police Station in Mumbai, it stated, in response to Ranaut's recent statements about the Farmer's Laws and its unrelated reference as a 'Khalistani Arm twisting strategy.' With regards to her following statement in her Instagram account

"Khalistani Terrorists maybe arm twisting the Government today, but let's not forget one woman, the only woman Prime Minister ne inko apni jooti 7 8 ke neeche crush kiya, no matter how much suffering she caused to the nation, she crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of her own life, lekin Desh ke tukde nahi hone diye. Even after decades of her death, aaj bhi uske naam se kaapte hain yeh, inko vaise hi Guru Chahiye"

According to the petition, Ranaut's social media posts imply that all Sikh farmers are separatists and aspirants of a separatist state of Khalistan, and that the farmer issue is nothing more than a Khalistan versus State issue. Such reckless utterances can generate enmity among Indians, culminating in the country's division.

"The remarks are not only outrageous and blasphemous but also intend to cause riots, hurt religious sentiments; they are defamatory as well as portray Sikhs in a totally anti-national manner. It also justifies the innocent killing of Sikhs. The remarks are totally against the unity of our country and the actress deserves a serious punishment in law. They cannot be brushed aside or excused," the plea added.
